When I got regular massages… one time I switched up and got a facial from the same place.
It was even more relaxing. I would do it keep often, but I want to tend to my own facial issues and skincare. I think facials also push out / pop pimples, where I like to be more gentle to my sensitive skin. I don’t feel like I need to extract as much as keep my skin calm and nicely lotioned. |
| I do monthly facials and after about 3-4 months, noticed a huge difference in my skin’s tone, texture and hydration. It has only improved now that I’ve been doing this for a few years. |
This is so unnecessary. Can you not wash your own face? Significant extraction is hard on skin and ages you. It is better not to mess with the skin’s natural processes. |
My Dermatologist has never pushed anything. |
| Yes! I totally agree. |
I did one monthly for a year and noticed nothing. The only improvement was from Tretinoin. |
| I think good skin care makes all the difference. My mom and mil never had a facial in their life (and no botox or anything like that) and they both have amazing skin. I have a good routine myself and I'd say I look pretty great. |
The only women I know who regularly get facials are insecure and vain and not very savvy. Facials are relaxing and fine once in awhile but they don’t do much. |

I clench my jaws. Years ago, I used to get facials and loved it - it was like a massage but for my face where I hold my stress.
