| It was an ‘authorized DoD flight’ that caused a sonic boom. No more info will be provided. |
How about people not amplify bullshit like this? |
You forgot to mention this was posted by an incredulous source. ^^ That's how mis information starts. Way to go. |
This is what Capital Weather Gang just posted. |
I shared it because this guy has been reliable elsewhere, part of the story is totally overlapped by what others more mainstream are reporting, and the FlightAware image seems to correlate to the novel part of the report - I also qualified it. Because we're adults and can handle qualifiers and question marks as valuable context and not take them as absolutes. I'm repeating it as the absolute fact as the post I linked to - I am clearly embedding both interest, some trust AND some skepticism. People who can't handle something other than being on one end of an absolute dichotomy must suffer every day in this world. |
Oh shut up |
*_not_ repeating as absolute fact |

Felt it in Del Ray! So weird!
However my cat at the time displayed no indication anything was awry. |
| My bad - won’t happen again! |

The noise was a sonic boom when fighter jets were scrambled to intercept an unresponsive plane (Cessna) flying right over DC.
It appears the plane might have depressurized, and it ended up crashing when it ran out of fuel over southwest Virginia. https://twitter.com/Killmoenetwork/status/1665443794014154753?s=20 plane flight history - https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N611VG/history/20230604/1700ZZ/0A9/KISP |
