LOL. With what staff?

Don’t worry, OP will be back here Sunday complaining about the terrible service at Founding Farmers.

Classic amateur move,

Nah, having brunch at home on mother's day using "amateur hour" as an excuse is a classic lazy-husband move. Bonus points if Mom ends up having to deal with the destroyed skillet

Agree! So many women have internalized their servitude.

Huh? My DH cooks a lovely breakfast and I request Chinese food for dinner because I hate going out when restaurants are super crowded. I also get to sleep in, presents including jewelry and spa gift cards, and time alone if I want or time together like a hike if I want. My DH and kids do a great job. Hardly “servitude.”

Makes internal note to avoid Lone Oak all weekend. No one wants to hear your brats at a brewery while you ignore them and get sauced.

It is such a rip off. Why would I want to pay 30 dollars + per person so I can eat some scrambled eggs and bacon.

I feel the same way about Mother’s Day brunch that I feel about going out for Mexican on cinco de mayo. Just don’t.
