terrible, they should have double the capacity with outdoor covid dining.

Sorry you didn't make reservations in a timely manner. You'll know better for next year.

Honestly I've always found these types of days suck and the food isn't as good as usual, especially for thr jacked up price they charge. Mother's Day and Valentine's Day seem like the biggest offenders.

Yeah, after too many meh overpriced experiences on Mother's Day and Valentines Day, I far prefer to go out basically any other day.

or it is crazy expensive. Guinness has a mothers day brunch for 75 per adult plus 35 per kid and its not even unlimited mimosas for mom

Just take her out on Saturday instead.

Make your own brunch.

Just do it on a different day, it will be nicer and easy.

This. Not to mention the wait staff are crabby because the kids are paying and don't know how to tip. Pack a picnic lunch and go somewhere outside and beautiful. Shenandoah, Sugar Loaf, the Mall, there are so many options

+1
Agree. Most places have a pre-fixe menu and the food is rushed and mediocre. You're better off going out on Friday or Saturday, or even the week after.

1. Why do you feel entitled to a spot after everyone has made reservations?

2. Why on earth would you go to a restaurant on one of the famously predatory dining days of the year?

“Outdoor COVID dining”? Um, no.

Mother’s Day brunch is another classic “amateur hour” dining experience that you won’t catch me at. Yikes. I like to dine out with other people who don’t only do so four times a year, acting like entitled jerks the whole time.

Brunch is so easy to make at home, I never go out anymore. Plus, bottomless drinks are truly great when you have no where to drive afterward.
