Just this week she's decided she's worried about choosing the "lower ranked" school, even though it's likely the better fit. I'm sure a lot of it is just freaking out about the future, but it's getting ridiculous. Please tell me I'm not the only one dealing with this right now.

tell us where she’s deciding between, and I’m sure we can figure out where she should go!!!

Ooh, both great schools but definitely with different vibes. I would think one would be a better fit in terms of school culture. Good luck with the final decision and congrats to your daughter!

DS can't pick: UMD (Spring), Case, Pitt, Ohio State, Colorado, Northeastern(NUin) for non med bio. Leaning Pitt as he likes urban.

Great choices! I'd drop UMD since the others have a fall start. How does he feel about starting college abroad?

JMU or High Point as a STEM major.

Definitely JMU. High Point gives me bad vibes and I don't like how isolated it is from the community (gated)

For what it's worth, everyone I know who was a science major at Pitt had a good experience.

May I ask if he submitted scores in 1300s to UMD? I’m trying to figure out if that’s what leads to spring start. Wondering if my junior should go TO if doesn’t break 1400.

The only location left is Belfast so not great. Also NEU is $$. The difference between OSU with merit and NEU no merit is $200k after 4 years.

Thank you! There was also a rumor on here about not getting in if any Cs. You’ve at least debunked that as to spring admission. Congrats on great options!
