if you can find the 1988 Ramona series (with Sarah Polley in the title role) it's not particularly educational but it is good.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but my teens still like to see an episode or two of Little Bear.

OP - the PBS shows are all great. Agree with PPs who recommended magic school bus, Xavier riddle, and wild krafts. Also Molly of Denali and Pinkalicious.

These are more geared toward younger kids, but my 6 and 8 year olds still turn them on sometimes - Creative Galaxy and Tumble Leaf on Amazon Prime. Both of them are very calm.

Yes! Tumble Leaf is one of the most underrated kids shows of all time! It’s a true work of art and the tone is very calm and gentle. Nothing quite like it.

Stop it. Sensitive MEN exist. And they are still MEN. Please stop conflating personality or preferences with gender.

I’m sensitive AF

You can still watch Mister Rogers! My kids love it

I agree with you on how annoying lots of new shows are. My toddler has been watching old Sesame Street on HBO. The episodes from the earlier seasons are much calmer because the graphics aren’t so intense.

Have you tried documentaries? That was actually our staple.

Anything on PBS Kids will be great.
