That's a big hope! A fifth of vodka is 17 shots.

It is more common to go this route in college now because beer has largely disappeared on campuses. Why? It is much easier to get and hide a 2 liter vodka bottle in your dorm room than to get and hide a case or two of beer. You can mix the vodka with something from the cafeteria, and you can then carry an insulated cup through dorm halls and around campus with no problem. You can’t do that with a beer can or bottle. Obviously you can pour a beer into the same cup, but first you have to have the beer and second it has to last. For on campus parties, beer kegs have long ago disappeared. You still see them at off campus parties. I have a kid in a frat - they use the small plastic cups for girls like you see on airplanes. They do it so there is no reason to feel bad about setting it down to dance or whatever. Just get a new one. Unattended cups get pitched.

Sounds watered down to me. Everclear >>> vodka |
Split it two way with a few sips for friends and that's an average night in college |
I've made jungle juice with vodka plenty of times. Everyclear isn't always available when you go to college in the middle of nowhere and every rented house and frat is buying for the same big weekend. You just add more koolaid powder to mask the taste and it's fine |
Liters don’t have handles. |
| Not new. And kind of ingenious, because you mix it yourself, you hold it the entire time, etc. You can just fill it entirely with Gatorade if you want, and no one can roofie you. |
+1 |
I thought of Star Trek. |
Weird, seems hard to dance with a gallon jug! My friends and I totally would have just put in juice from the dining hall and like a drop of alcohol to feel rebellious. |
+1 I went to college in upstate New York and my DH went in Jersey. Everclear is illegal in both places and people went to PA to get it. |
You can buy a two-liter reusable bottle with handle and screw-on lid for less than $5. |
I know right? TikTok’s doing an awesome job with BORG binges: https://www.tiktok.com/discover/borg-drink?lang=en Teens on TikTok don’t have a “drinking problem;” - they drink a gallon, they get drunk: NO PROBLEM! |
Yes a bunch of out of touch old men like you that are absolutely clueless. The ONLY reason they want to ban tik tok is because they can’t control it and can’t make money off it. I mean there have been live killings, challenges, and stolen identity info from FB. Why isn’t FB banned. All those republicans claiming they care about your kids but allow assault rifles, ban books, and hate on LGBTQ. Yes, they are “so” concerned. Wake up |
GFY. I will be calling both parties in Congress and urging them to vote as they are inclined to do, and pass legislation banning TikTok. |
