PSA - Here's another new term to learn - BORG

Anonymous
I’m having trouble picturing this. So people drag a gallon of water jug with them around the party? And dance with it? I’m not sure it avoids the date rape drug problem. It seems likely girls put them down at some point. I told my girls you drink from a store sealed container (or a cup if you see it come out of a new store sealed container) and you don’t let the top of it out of your sight until you are done drinkkjng it. If you’re carrying one container around all night, I think it would be hard to monitor it all night.

Basically yes they carry around a gallon water jug. I don't know if they do this for parties but they are definitely the thing to do for football games.

A borg is supposed to be a fifth of vodka in a gallon of water with flavoring and I know some of the guys actually do that. My daughter and her friends don't put in anywhere near that and they rarely finish one-she's 20 and a sophomore. They sometimes will split one between 2 girls.

Ready for the flames, but just showing what actually goes on.

Just go on TikTok and search Borg if you're curious to what it actually looks like.

Not another mommy complaining about tik tok. I mean come on.

Girls have to outsmart the guys - I like it

It's better than drinking a random concoction mixed in a plastic bag in a garbage can like we did in college in the 80s.

I am a dad.

F**K TikTok! I hope Congress works up the courage and does ban it entirely.

Did anyone even watch the congressional hearings today??

TikTok, like the company itself?

Or do you mean the youth on TikTok are encouraging it?

Who do you think controls what gets on? You sound clueless.

Exactly! Chinese kids get only healthy, motivational content on their TikTok.

That depends….. you can put way more shots into the gallon than you would ever drink on its own.

Or way less.

It's funny that this is "new". Of course kids have done this type of thing forever.

Parents too, I've been filling my Yeti with Cabernet to get through various kid events for years.

Our high school just did a drug and alcohol awareness presentation for parents and included a video on the Borg. PP who said this is better than the trash can punch we drank is probably right. Hopefully, kids are smart enough to go lighter on the alcohol.

Who would think it's a good idea to drink a BlackOut Rage Gallon? The short version of what it is: Gallon of water, pour some out, replace with vodka and add a flavor enhancer.

Sounds like watered down jungle juice

It is exactly jungle juice but you get to control what goes in it. The downside is that many teens won't do a good job controlling what goes in it. I like the idea of a BORTL.
