Op here again. I have tried to do the grey rock some posters had mentioned (and I've seen it mentioned in other areas discussing people like this).

She called me the other day to discuss something work related (we work in the same field), and when I tried to give advice that she asked for she got mad and said "I also have a degree in this, Larla! Why are you talking to me like I don't know these things?". So I told her, "you called me, and asked for professional advice. I'm trying to help you. It's not a personal dig at you". After, I wished her a good evening and hung up.

Hopefully this is a boundary she will be willing to heed.
