Because there is no left wing propaganda machine dedicated to making this into a 24/7 news story a la Fetterman.

People get sick sometimes. Only the GOP tries to weaponize it (and invent it, half the time).

This. Democrats are trying to fix what they can, not run an insult propaganda machine.

And, an old guy falling and hurting himself is not funny. Neither is a man who had a stroke having depression, but that's not what republicans think it seems.

What I can’t figure out is why the “liberal media” isn’t pumping out story after story about how this destabilizes the GOP’s ability to do stuff. You would think the “liberal media” would be all over this, pointing out that the GOP is down one of their most senior and most ruthless senators, but they don’t really seem to be broadcasting that message.

Uh, what can McConnell do? He's the minority leader in the Senate. And what would the GOP do in the House other than blow up the budget and debt ceiling? They literally do not have a platform except to be against whatever the Democrats are for. That and tax cuts. Finally, even if he could do something, aside from blocking confirmations, he can't pass anything that Biden couldn't veto.

And for the record, what did the Republicans do when they had unified control of Congress and the Presidency prior to 2018 mid terms? Other than passing a tax cut bill and defanging Dodd Frank and failing at getting rid of the ACA, I can't think of anything. So no, the "liberal media" has other things to focus on.

McConnell is awful and the cause of so much bad that has come out of the Senate. But, at least he's not a Trump lackey. So, he's the better of 49 evils.

There is no " liberal media propaganda machine"
There is a conservative media propaganda machine.

I guess McConnell figured he better get back to it before people started asking questions about him:

For all the interest people have in him, he may as well be deceased at this point. I’d forgotten about his malignant presence.

No one (read, no one Republican) seems to want to joke about this old man tripping and falling and now being hospitalized.
When it's a Republican, no jokes come because...
For clarity, I'm not condoning or encouraging jokes. Just simply noting their incredibly obvious absence here.

Mitch McConnell is not someone most conservatives want in office. And we are not joking about Biden falling for the joke’s sake. We are stating that Democrats seem to ‘not see’ any of Biden’s very obvious physical and mental limitation. We are actually making fun of Democrats.

The lies told by Dems about Fetterman and Biden are what the ‘propaganda machine’ are referring to
