It's ok. It could be so much worse. He could be a puppy-stealing, 9 11 lying, fake college degree making con man. Consider yourself lucky. |
Um... yes? Because depression is real, and worthy of treatment, just like if you got into a car accident and hospitalized a month into employment. What is the matter with you? |
He said he would be mentally and physically to do the job of being a Senator day 1. He promised his voters. He campaigned on it. He lied. He is unable to do his job. That’s the problem. |
You Republicans lost. Get over it. |
That is nothing. There are some real champion liers in Congress. You need to pay attention. |
Who cares. He should resign and have another Democrat appointed to do his job. Anyone that can actually be there to do the job… |
That is not how it works at all. |
There are deranged people in Congress who yammer about "Jewish space lasers" and who lie about their backgrounds and everything else. I have far more faith in Fetterman than I do many of them. |
Kind of hard to "have faith" in a Senator who cannot be present to do his job. Seems he will be out of at least a few weeks. And, the other Senator from PA just had surgery for prostate cancer. So, right now, PA voters have no representation in the Senate. I am sure they are simply thrilled! |
It could be so much worse. They can recover and serve. Some voters are stuck with bottom of the barrel shucksters just running cons. |
Or, not recover. We just don't know. Meanwhile, PA has nobody to represent them. I am sure many are regretting their vote. |
Having a lapse in representation is better than having a crook actively engaged in scammy representation. |
They don't like elections (at least not elections that they lose). Congressmen get old and incapacitated in office every term and you don't hear a peep, but somehow this is different |
You don't remember how all of the GOP DCUMers were calling on Rep. Steube to resign after he fell off a ladder and is now taking a month plus off to recover? Certainly there's a thread somewhere. |
He lied, but people voted knowlingly for his lies, so what's new. |
