| We just bought a Casper from Costco for this exact reason (firm mattress for guest room). We slept on it recently and were pleased with the comfort - it was firm, but not hard as a rock, which is what our two primary sets of guests (our parents) have requested. It was also a great price - we bought it from the store where it's $50 less than if you buy it online. It fit in the back of our small SUV with the back seats down. |

Love the durability, firmness, and cool feel possible with spring mattresses. We have an Original Mattress Factory firm mattress bought 20 years ago still in great condition, and recently bought additional beds there. They use quality materials (high count, low gauge springs) at value pricing without heavy marketing or upselling. No other spring mattress has exceeded their quality for us. You test and buy in store the traditional way, and wait for delivery.
Can't speak for foam mattresses, don't like them, too hot and expensive, less durable. |
