That’s brilliant (putting santas paper out for him to use) |
| Santa uses different paper for each kid and leaves a piece of it in the bottom and of their stockings instead of using name tags. We use different paper and tags for presents from us. Usually the Santa paper has Santas on it, so we just reuse year to year until it’s gone, then buy more. |

Santa didn't wrap at our house.
We labeled the areas of the room where Santa was to put things (we had 2 kids, 2 easy chairs in the living room, so we would carefully label which chair was for which of us - in retrospect it's so funny but my parents never giggled or laughed! And Santa filled our stockings each year, too. As a 58 year old, I can honestly NOT tell you whether I ever received any gifts from my parents. Santa brought the big things - bike, shovel, long dress, camera, several books. (ok, I guess books weren't big things!) Anyway, I actually think we never recieved any gifts from my parents - but we had so many aunts and uncles we had many things to unwrap. And when we didn't believe in Santa any longer, my mother wrapped gifts from them - and some also said from Santa because my mother loved Santa. Maybe we did get things from my parents like underwear, socks and mittens and hats? I know we got those things when we were older, so I bet we got those things every year from them. Santa brought the fun things! |
