Look at wjla’s promotion of right wing culture wars by segments such as “crisis in the classroom,” “reporting” by Nick Minock and the way they followed Republican midterm candidates around and gave them free publicity. The right wing media is a potent force and it’s unfortunate they have contaminated local news all around the country.

You are unbelievable. They were reporting news. You may not want to hear those particular stories - or rather, you don't want anyone else to hear them - but that's entirely your own problem. Why shouldn't they cover Republican midterm candidates as well as Democrats? You seem to think that only Democrats deserve coverage. Get over yourself. Yep. As someone who is not over 60 but lives in a house where Fox 5 local news comes on the TV; yeah, it's Fox. Not Tucker Carlson, and I don't blame the local crew/reporters because everyone needs a job, but it's Fox.

All the local channels, Fox 5, NBC 4, WUSA 9, WJLA 7. They are all the same and they all cover local news. There’s nothing right or left wing about them. Basically you choose the channel based on who you like the best, the weather personality you trust the most. It has nothing to do with politics. These are not the cable channels.

No, they're not all the same, though yes, they do all cover local news.

Also, no, it does have something to do with politics - specifically, in the local news stories they cover or don't cover, and in the approach to those local news stories.
