Fox 5 TV is directly owned by Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch and is a partisan Republican outlet

Fox 5 is a deeply rightwing outlet designed to deceive people to get votes for tax cuts for billionaires.

Other countries limit the media that billionaire oligarchs can own, just for this reason.

America just leaves its news up to totally unregulated markets and so we end up with rightwing billionaires buying media and spreading lies with the media they own.

Are you still trying to persuade us that WJLA is “right wing”? Give it up. You look utterly ridiculous.

OP you provide zero evidence or facts to show how Fox 5 has reported anything inaccurately. You fail to show how the piece on Youngkin is “fawning.” You’re up in arms over nothing.

Youngkin is a wild eyed radical, who appointed extreme MAGA Republicans to top roles in his admin. The anti-abortion extremism is just one part of it.

The institutional Republican Party billionaires that the Murdochs ally with, they desperately want to hide Republican extremism. That’s why they run these fawning segments. Their goal is to hide the extremism and surprise America with what they’re doing.

+1

And the rubes continue to be fleeced.

Right? Fox 5 does a good job of showing issues that our community is interested in. And our residents are diverse in origin and thought.

DP. I would suggest you read up on Sinclair broadcasting and what they do to their local news programs.

I think it's clear who the wild-eyed radical is ^^^.

Of course it is, did you see the freaks who Youngkin was campaigning? Kari Lake? Tudor Dixon?

I don’t think anyone under 40 watches local television news, let alone takes it seriously or expects it to be unbiased.

But unfortunately too many people over 40 do watch it and get duped by it.

I saw that Fox5 story about the MAGA nut job restaurant owner in Fredericksburg who got raided for Covid health department violations and operating without a license. It was some obvious MAGA propaganda.

There is absolutely nothing "right wing" on WJLA. Are you on drugs?

https://wjla.com/

They are absolutely right wing. Sinclair buys local stations and make them run some of their centralized content (I haven’t seen this on wjla, though). Look at wjla’s promotion of right wing culture wars by segments such as “crisis in the classroom,” “reporting” by Nick Minock and the way they followed Republican midterm candidates around and gave them free publicity. The right wing media is a potent force and it’s unfortunate they have contaminated local news all around the country.

I’d say over 60, but yes.
