I'm sure they sent their own children to third tier directional schools in order to open spots for kids who could better benefit |
You do realize that: 1. Law schools don't care about where you go to undergrad, and 2. Law firms only care about law school and not college, right? |
| Of course law schools care! And the firms I've been at care about law school first but look at undergrad as well. |
Columbia was objectively less expensive than a state university for my kid. If I substract room and board, it was very little. That's an objective fact. |
Seriously! Are you low income or just scamming the financial aid forms? |
Probably low income. Although I do know a couple business owners who brag about the "full rides" their kids have received at Ivies thanks to their clever accountant. Must be nice. |

Middle income |

Attending any college generates opportunities. Every college has alumni networks. |
Do you realize that you are suggesting that professors at every other college in the country wouldn't write their students a recommendation for law school? Only at Yale would you find a professor willing to write a law school rec. You are so ridiculous. Many of us are still in touch with our college professors decades later. |
So all colleges are the same with respect to job & career opportunities ? |
+1 that grads from very elite institutions with very elite jobs at very elite institutions are pretending it doesn't matter. ROFL for anyone to take that BS seriously. |
|
Some people get all sort of opportunities, get into and attend Princeton on quota for free then get into Harvard law for quota and ivy degree, get hired by a top law firm on quota and because of ivy degrees but still can't manage to have a good career in law.
If 8 years at ivies can't make them competitive, its a loss. |
For a given person? Look around you. |
