It is but most dems live in blue states where its protected while EVERYONE is being affected by unafforable food, crime, and gas. Again - every day concerns when a woman might need an abortion...every couple years.

Guam like DC is not a state and so their reps don’t get a vote. There are only 50 states in America!

Reading from a pretty credible source on Twitter that Luria in VA2 is toast....

+1

This is a major bellwether district. If this district flips to R, the wave just got 10 feet higher...

Is it a secret source? Why aren't you linking to it?

The U.S. territory sends one nonvoting delegate to Congress, and that delegate had always been a Democrat going back to 1993. That is no longer true after Republican James Moylan defeated his Democratic opponent and became the first GOP pick-up in Congress and just the second Republican ever sent to Congress by the island.

Thoughts?

This has to be the first time anyone, R or D, has given one whit about Guam.

I don't care about Vermont either but it was the first county to close in 2020 and everyone was watching that too.

You mean corporate price gouging? Focusing on that right?

Whatever you want to call it - inflation has literally been rising since March 2021. Gas prices since May 2021. The supply chain in crisis since June 2021. Food prices unaffordable since October 2021.

The White House's message that whole time and into 2022? We need subsidized daycare or democracy dies! Well something died tonight alright.

You use right wing talking points.

No, that's DCUM at its finest. Tell me if Democracy was at stake all of 2021 and 2022 - why was the platform solely focused on paying for non-voting babies? You sunk your own ship.

Yes, of course. But it’s so much more than a saving of democracy. To vote straight Democratic in this particular election is saving the American character of fairness, decency, and justice. People who say “the soul of our country” is at stake are not exaggerating.

Wow- you heard it here folks- the only people that matter are those that vote. Doesnt matter to this person that innocent, vulnerable children are supported.

It doesn't when you are pushing crazy $2.3 trillion policies while everyone else who votes (70% of the country without dependents) is screwed. You still don't get it but its too late now.

So children are no longer worth investing in? You think that crime doesnt correlate with EEC investment or poverty? The most important time for child development is 0-3 and we do nothing.

Please don't patronize us. You did that all of 2021 and see where it got you? BTW I've seen DCUM argue that since they didn't get free pre-school, its actually useless for child development. Pick a side.

At this point, we've got our president who prioritized a true death wave during Covid and now Congress which will take care of inflation without giving out 1,000s in monthly baby bucks.

Win-win.
