My wife likes lifetime fitness, but it's costly... We have two gym memberships

How many times a week does she go to the gym? I missed that.

I look at my own monthly fee by the number of times I go each month. Right now I am going twice per week, but as the weather gets cooler, it’s likely to be 4x each week.’

God help us all that a man micromanages a woman like this.

Maybe guilt her over that?

What's wrong with that?

If she doesn’t want to actively parent maybe she should get a full-time job

Women shouldn't have breaks in the day for a few hours.

But there are no towels or other womens to pal around with

The shoes are for him. His wife should keep going to the gyn she likes.

Cool. Who is going to watch the kids?

You all are crazy with the gym childcare! Go on hikes with your kids, push them in a jogging stroller, have them bike with you. Sheesh. These kids are getting stuck in gym childcare way too much.

Team wife. I have two gym memberships just for me. It’s a health and quality of life issue, both of which are worth paying for.

You sound insane.

Those things are in addition to the gym. Give the girl 2 hours 3x a week ffs.

This is why Americans are so unhealthy.

Dad will immediately lay out $4K for travel sorts if the son is good at a sport.

[b]I'm not the type to allow that.[b] Paying half her salary for a gym membership. I would feel bad to allow that. She saves most and spends some on clothes or salon appointments.

Lol. Here we are.

This is not something I would argue about. Find another way to cut costs because it sounds like this is not the place to save money.

Lifetime, with the pool and daycare, is totally, totally worth it. Be glad your wife is motivated and exercising. Best $200 a month you will ever spend.

Too much according to who? You? Please. A few hours of childcare so a woman can maintain her sanity is NOTHING. Divorce is much more expensive.

Exactly. They should work 24 hours a day every single day of the week NON STOP with no one else EVER looking after their children. I mean it's so unreasonable to want some time to yourself when your job is round the clock and never ends and is quite honestly soul sucking a lot of time. That's crazy!

Wrinkly and saggy?

Why do people spend so much for Lifetime when Planet Fitness is $10/month? I don't get it.
