Agree with PP. if you are picking up, then no car danger and you can see her behavior and know if she’s been drinking, assuming that’s your fear. It’s hard to start letting go and allowing teens to make their own choices. In this scenario, you can decided to give her space to see what hs parties can be like, allow her to make good decisions, and have it be a positive result. Or, you can harbor her inside your home and not allow her to make good choices, because you are controlling her. Sounds a little like confirmation bias, in that you are looking at others to support your thinking.
