Love the haircut, btw.

Our family doesn't eat fries. Burgers only. Diet Cokes. Sometimes shakes.

No one in your family like fries? Have they tried them?

Never order ahead for places that make the fries when you arrive. Now your burger has been sitting there for who knows how long? May as well just wait it the whole way out and have it he fresh.

I didn't say we don't like them, I said we don't order them. Maybe 1 in 10 times we get fries? If that.

Shake Shack's burgers AND chicken sandwiches are the best in the game. And their season pumpkin shake is soooo dangerous.

Is this the same person who orders 1 pizza for their family of 4?

+1. Even just a simple omelette with some veggies thrown in is far easier and healthier than pissing so much time away to eat garbage.

America. Have you seen the Chick-fil-A drive thru line? People put a lot of time and effort to eat garage food

But you can't eat an omelet in the car while driving. The only times I eat fast food burgers is when I am in a rush and don't have time to stop to eat, but have to eat on the run. Fast food sandwiches have a plate for the occasional time crunch situation.

DP. We used to not order fries like the PP above. The problem was that a medium was more fries than my family of four would eat. We would end up tossing about half of them. I said for years they needed a smaller size. When they finally added a small, we started ordering. The small is the right size for 3 or 4 of us and we don't waste food. I don't order it when it's just me, but we do enjoy them when we order as a family.

I ordered to-go what I thought was a reasonable meal the other day, because the chipotle next door had a line out the door, and I ended up paying nearly twice the price of a reasonable lunch, and had to dispose of a big scary oily paper bag full of fries after eating way too many. Never again.

Five Guys is awesome. In-N-Out is so overrated and their fries are terrible.

+1 re In-N-Out I was so disappointed when I finally ate there after years of hearing it talked up. Figured I just hit a bad franchise, but I’ve now tried five different ones. The only thing that is superior to 5 guys is the tomato and lettuce. Laughable to claim the fries are in the same league.

Did you get your burger animal style? otherwise, it's just another burger, but I think pretty equivalent to five guys.

I can't stand the five guys fries. They are so mushy and oily tasting. Pretty much anyone's fries are better than 5 guys. But I like the 5 guys burgers okay (probably not as well as shake shack or BGR), and their milkshakes are awesome (close tie between 5 guys salted caramel and Potbelly chocolate for my favorite fast food).

They’ve started scaling way back on the volume of fries. A small is actually like a single serving now. Lean times.

I can’t believe how many people still eat nasty burgers and fries.
