+1 re In-N-Out I was so disappointed when I finally ate there after years of hearing it talked up. Figured I just hit a bad franchise, but I’ve now tried five different ones. The only thing that is superior to 5 guys is the tomato and lettuce. Laughable to claim the fries are in the same league. [/quote]

Did you get your burger animal style?  otherwise, it's just another burger, but I think pretty equivalent to five guys.

I can't stand the five guys fries.  They are so mushy and oily tasting.  Pretty much anyone's fries are better than 5 guys.  But I like the 5 guys burgers okay (probably not as well as shake shack or BGR), and their milkshakes are awesome (close tie between 5 guys salted caramel and Potbelly chocolate for my favorite fast food).[/quote]
