I think you’re not giving enough credit to the role of excellent examples of Russian tactical failures like “not telling trainees they were going to war” and “lining all their trucks up on a road”

Also, not giving credit to the Ukrainian soldiers. Yes, the West is supplying arms, but Russia had tons of arms and soldiers, and they are a mess.

They're a mess because Russia did not calculate going to war against the United States, which is what essentially the battle in Ukraine has become. It's American intelligence, weapons, logistical support, and money that's driving the Russians back. Sure, it's Ukrainian soldiers who are benefitting from all this support and using it on the battlefield, but it's neither Ukraine nor Zelensky who's winning this war.

Sorry. You're losing badly to the "hohols".

+1 It is interesting to compare the cost to the US of the Ukraine war to that of the war in Afghanistan.

The Afghanistan war cost the US 5.8 *trillion* dollars and 2400 servicemen lives (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/09/01/how-much-did-war-afghanistan-cost-how-many-people-died/5669656001/) . The Ukraine war has cost the US 54 billion dollars and zero US lives ( https://marketrealist.com/p/how-much-money-has-the-us-sent-to-ukrainie/ ) out of the annual military budget of 770 billion dollars. All that aid to Afghanistan was unable to help them defeat the Taliban, but are clearly on the verge of helping Ukraine defeat the Russian invaders. (This is why the Putin tankies are so desperate to stop any further assistance to Ukraine.)

You real good w numbers.

Now add the 10+ trillion in wealth destruction caused by sanctions….

The same thing as would have happened to the USSR if it had to fund WW2 itself. Luckily we don't have to live in a world where either of those situations happened.

You do realize that you're saying the Russians were never prepared to take on the West, right?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1ca52QhGr4

That all the billions of rubles spent on Russian spy networks, spy satellites, electronic warfare, high-tech gadgets, were unable to locate and target Ukrainian assets?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK3vo8DZLbY

The Russian military is the Best in the World, remember?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5ZKivBYQYM

It is absolutely Zelensky who is winning this war. The West isn't driving the logistics trucks to supply their front lines. The West isn't pulling the trigger on the tank gun, or rocket trigger. It's all Ukrainian.

Without the United States and Western allies, the Ukrainians wouldn’t have any logistics to transport or triggers to pull.

Um. Yeah. And without the AK-47 spread around the world, there probably would be millions more people alive?

Hard to point the finger of blame when it's so bloody.

It's not an exercise in blame, it's a statement of fact.

OK, Boris I'll do the math for you. We averaged 5 times more military spending per year in each of the twenty years of the Afghanistan war, than we have spent this year assisting Ukraine.

I am only including costs to the American taxpayers for military support to our allies. I know Russia is being hurt by the sanctions but Putin knows what to do to end them.

Since you love math so much. You understand what this means, right?
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1005416/population-russia-gender-age-group/

And why this is important?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/08/17/russia-ukraine-putin-mother-heroine-award-children/

Because of this?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_groups_in_Russia

Do you think Russia's war with Ukraine accelerates this process?
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-06-10/russia-s-population-is-shrinking-even-as-putin-seeks-expansion

How do you feel about that?

The point is, Boris, what do you think will happen to Russia if the Ukraine War continues? What about a nuclear war?

If you truly love Russia, shouldn't you help stop the war?

Or is Russia just a fading civilization?

What do you want for Russia's children?

Completely relevant as pp erroneously claimed their military success was Solely due to US funding. They are making the most of all the help they are getting with highly motivated citizen soldiers.

Zelensky said all along they could not defeat Russia without a lot of financial and military aid from US and Allies.
