Pride Red 27 is a very solid team. They did play BLC close last year, and have played a few good teams close.
But they also have some bad loses. M&D 3-14 Hero's Green 1-10 NXT 5-7 Hero's Green 2-10 Did they beat BLC 10-1? Seems odd but it shows they did. So there you go. |
Is it? I'm seeing last year's schedule. |

No the Stars 27 team is not like the 26 team. The 26 team stole Pride's 3 best players with promises for Capital. Prides best 27 players did not leave for Stars. Pride's 27 team just beat Stars pretty easily. KJ is not a magician and can only work with what is there. Pride's results show they continue to gain more and more the stronghold on the MS and ES programs. |
Why is Stars Light Blue 27s in a lower bracket? |
Because they always play in lower brackets whenever they play in any top tourney. Despite playing in a lower bracket, they are going to get housed by Renegades. |
If they aren't careful, Rebels will run them over as well. |
|
It will be interesting to see how they do against EagleStix. That is a very good team. Hard to judge how good the Pride team is off of one play day. They do have 2 really accomplished coaches( as players) which is a positive. Remains to be seen if they can run with the top programs.

MD parent here. MC Elite picked up a very strong player that was a standout on Pride 27. |
Pride may be the top in VA for the 27s and 28s on down but they don't have a chance in beating the top clubs elsewhere. |
| Pride Red 27 can and has beaten every team in MD/DC/VA except Hero's Green and M&D. These two are well ahead and are constantly upgrading their talent with the top players from the other good Baltimore clubs (NEMS, Coppermine, Integrity, etc.) These are two of the top teams in the country, if not the two best, so there's no shame in taking losses. The funny thing is that most of the teams discussed on DCUM will never even play these two juggernauts. They are busy competing in the fourth bracket down vs. teams that really shouldn't even be considered "travel". |
The fine taste of Salt is ever present. While defending Pride, you proved the point that lacrosse in the DC area is glorified rec. |
Probably the worst matchip for them out of any top 5 team. Pride's weakness is their defense, especially crease side. Eagle Stix has the best executing offense in the country, like a well-oiled machine. They will just cut and pass it around until Pride makes a mistake and Pride has no defender who can physically matchup to Eagle Stix' star attacker. To have a chance, Pride will need to win 70% of the draws. |
I believe who you mean, she is defender though, hard to really make an impact as a defender. |
Eaglestix uses an illegal draw stick to win an incredible amount of the draws. It is a huge part of their ability to win games. Its considered bushleague to ask a ref to check a stick (yet in rec its done) but I guess its bushleague to use an illegal stick as well. |
