No she said it was 2 girls in her class, who could have also been full of it, because they just said "They were telling us our part, but we aren't supposed to tell"

They know better than to trust 11 and 12 year olds to keep a secret. I might have believed this if their parents were emailed. Last year a parent was notified early that they wanted her daughter in a boy role. Wasn't much early, maybe a day early?

In the past it's been anywhere from 8pm to 10pm.

My poor DD gets it stuck in her head that she only gets the "bad parts for kids who can't dance"
It's always a blow for her to find out she is not a coveted party girl, but always has fun none the less
