no way no how I would vote a Republican - because I do not trust their collective behavior. Democrats and independent that caucus with Democrats until GOP is fixed. She needs to get out of GOP if she wants votes like mine.

I agree. I would only vote for her as an independent.

What qualifies her most of all - integrity. Her statement on why she chose to take on Trump:

from the weekend news cycle:

Cheney said her work on the January 6 committee "is the single most important thing I've ever done professionally," telling Tapper that even if she loses her upcoming race for reelection because of her committee work, there was "no question" it was still worth serving on it.

AND, how refreshing a politician who can admit she was Wrong on her opposition to gay Marriage ( which she now supports saying , " people should be allowed to love who they love"

She is also determined to out Ginni Thomas and what she did, said, and knows:

For those who have waited decades for this- get behind her

Uh, no. Look, I'm impressed by many things about her. And I 100000% support and appreciate that she seems to honest, a decent person, and supports a democratic election (and condemns Trump and his lunatics). But aside from that, I disagree with about every principle she stands for on the substantive issues. People like her I can tolerate and support having a voice in our politics. But I would not vote for her as POTUS.

Correct. I can respect her without voting for her. And I wouldn't.

If it's Cheney vs Biden in 2024, Cheney would get my vote there as well. I'm sorry, but Biden will be too old for office in 2024.

If it's Cheney vs Harris in 2024, I think Cheney might even get my vote but it would be a close one.

me too, lifelong Dem and OP

Integrity, country first and can admit when she was wrong

Just about the ONLY person who has the cred to take on the wacko R wing and defeat them

She's not admitting she was wrong on substantive issues. She followed Trump in almost everything else.
God, people are so distracted by shiny objects.

So, lobby her to take the position that she has " I am pro-life" BUT state, " As a woman born and raised in Wyoming, I oppose all government attempt to insert themselves into a woman's private medical decision with her doctor "

She could be Exhibit A for why person's don't use government to impose their beliefs on private decisions of other people- THAT IS , after all, the Rockefeller Republican position on Abortion

Then that would actually be pro-choice. But as long as she votes along with the anti-abortion GOP, I would never support her. Her dad is also one of the most evil people in politics.

No she’s not. She’s a neocon who should be locked up in prison for her actions in NEA. She’s a liar and a war criminal and along with her dad and baby bush and rice behind bars. You people are so easily (neo)conned. No wonder her and her cabal got off scot-free for the illegal wars and the deaths of millions of innocents.

Nope , stay up to date if you are going to vote.

Liz Cheney has publicly called for Congress to fully legalize same sex marriage :

How 2008 of her.

I am never voting republican. I don't care who it is. As far as I am concerned, the entire party is trash.
Anonymous
I'd definitely consider switching parties to primary anyone running against her.

Lots of people are doing this for her Congressional race

But I do think it would be good for the country if she were the GOP nominee because she has real integrity - just watch the Jan 6th hearing tapes

This country needs to convict this man and bar him from any kind of office ever again - along with the likes of Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows and Hawley

The GOP is lucky to have her and they should get behind her if they want to survive as a party

A bunch of “Democrats” saying they’d vote for Dick Cheney’s daughter over a Democrat nominee is peak DCUM.

That’s how bad your guy is.

She is preferable to any MAGA, but I will still vote for someone who supports privacy and the right to choose.

She is also against DC statehood so continues the long saga of politicians thinking it is perfectly acceptable for 700k tax-paying US citizens to not have representation in Congress.
