Any hope for my semi-feral children?

Op, I could have written your post. My DH and I both don’t have a ton of manners, in fact I was raised to be somewhat feral (my parents are noveau Rich and balk at manners) and my DH thinks he has manners but he was raised similarly, which is worse imho. We try but don’t really know how to do it and my husband thinks it truly doesn’t matter either way. For instance we have never encouraged our kids to address adults as mr / mrs, which I know we should be doing. I know we are behind on this and honestly living in Dc makes me acutely aware!
