No kidding. If possible, do not get your obstetrics care in a red state. |
1. The pill does not prevent the implantation of eggs 2. Many forced birthers believe it does, so I wiulnt let facts drive decision making 3. IUDs and Plan B may prevent fertilized eggs from attaching. So, those are faire game |

She’s looking at performing arts, so not all schools have what she is looking for. The only other viable choices are Winnipeg and Vancouver (which is a crazy competitive program) |

IIRC Florida’s state constitution has something in it that makes a total ban much harder. |
good point.. forgot about this scenario. But wouldn't this be considered a "kill a life to save a life (or multiple)" scenario? These are such gray areas, and as usual, Rs don't understand nuances or the ramifications of their black and white thinking, and knee jerk reactions. |
Florida constitution has an explicit right to privacy. FL will become an abortion haven for the South. DeSantis gets to have his cake and eat it too - he will rail against abortion, attempt to pass horrible laws, but the FL courts will block all of it because its blatantly unconstitutional in Florida. Florida is really saved by its direct democracy and voter referendums. https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2022/07/05/legal-battle-over-floridas-15-week-abortion-ban-will-hinge-on-states-constitutional-right-to-privacy/ |
We will see how much this sets back IVF. We could end up with fewer babies, because of that and the fact that women may decide just not to get pregnant rather than to have to deal with someone accusing them of a miscarriage or abortion. Obviously some of these conservatives are bat crap crazy. |
