I have travelled 2-3 times a month since fall for work and for vacation. Destinations have included London, New York, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Nashville, Utah, Idaho, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Montreal, etc. No covid, although I know it's a matter of time. I generally mask on the plane (obviously I always did when it was required) and in crowded places, but in business meetings and dinners I do not, and am generally not distanced. I've been out to dinner and stayed in hotels. Also took several ski trips in the winter/spring in places with almost no masking. My 4th shot was in April, so hoping that the formula will have changed when I get my 5th in the fall.

| I’ve stayed in hotels maybe 5 times since I’ve been vaccinated. Have not gotten covid yet, but was with a group this weekend and just learned yesterday that two of the attendees tested positive. |

I've been on two trips recently - no Covid.
I flew to Prague in mid-June. Connected through a major European city. No masks anywhere in sight (I didn't wear one on the flight or in the city, though I was recently boosted). I came back the week they dropped the testing requirement to reenter the US, so I suppose I could have picked up Covid and been asymptomatic, but I definitely didn't get sick. I also flew domestically a week and a half ago, and attended a wedding. No sickness. |

I have traveled for work and continued during Covid. 2-3 times a month usually to FL or CA staying in hotels, eating out etc. Since Jan. I returned to international business travel 1-2 trips a month usually EU, randomly Asia and never got Covid.
I did get it from my teen in March when she brought it home from school. |
Flew too and from Cali. We wore a mask in the airport and on the plane. We did take them off to eat at the airport restaurants and to drink/eat on the plane. DH wore an N95, DS and I wore cloth masks. No COVID. We had family traveling from various parts of the Country and no one got sick but I have no clue if they wore masks on the planes or not. |
| We traveled to Florida 2 weeks ago and met 7 other people there. We were all traveling from different states/cities. None of us got Covid. |
Oh and we didn't mask in the airport/on the airplane. We stayed in a beach house together w/ our group and did not go out to eat at all (bought all groceries and prepared food at the house and also did take out). We didn't do any indoor activities while there around other people. We were always outside--pool, beach--but it was often fairly crowded at the pool and the beach. We've all already had Covid before so maybe that helped. We're also all vaccinated (except the baby who was in our group). |

Is this some kind of troll post? A vast majority of people who travel don't come back with COVID.
I've been on two full (domestic) vacations, several mini-vacations, and a work conference with 200+ in person and no Covid. |
| Went to Paris in April, didn't get covid. We wore masks on the flight there, as required, but not on the way back, as the US requirement just lifted. We didn't wear masks in Paris; seemed that only waiters or shop workers wore masks, not patrons. |
| Just travelled to Disney World. None of us came back sick. But we did all have it in May… |
|
This post is just useless anecdotes. I could start another one asking who traveled and got Covid and would get a bunch of responses as well.
For the record, we went to a 100+ person indoors wedding in May where most people didn’t wear masks. We didn’t get Covid. We flew to Europe and back, wore masks diligently on the planes and everywhere indoors. We got Covid. It was bound to happen eventually, we’ve avoided it for 2+ years. |
Well, OP did ask for anecdotes so… |
| I have had this year two trips to Europe, six trips to NY, one trip to Dallas, two beach trips to the Carolinas, two work offsites. Did not get COVID. |

Drove from MoCo to Summit county, CO with 2 young kids. Stopped in Chicago for 2 days, hang out at Millennium park, Boardwalk, even ate breakfasts at the hotel buffet (i know, eww).
Did the same last summer, no COVID so far. |
| Just returned from Outer Banks, spending a week in a beach house with 11 family members--5 adults and 6 kids. We drove. No one's reported a COVID positive yet; my nephew did seem to have a mild cold while we were there, but my SIL had him take several rapids and they all came back negative. |
