Any travel stories were you DIDN'T come back with covid?

Cruise. We were 80% successful. The 20% wasn't good about masking indoors and her mask didn't fit well. The rest of us, kn95s religious about masks indoors except when eating.

We have flown 20+ times over two years and have not had COVID to the best of our knowledge, although there was a head cold that tested negative for both of us on PCR.

We mask with N95s, avoid removing them during travel (I don't eat on the plane or in the airport but will take brief sips of water), and try to time our travel to avoid big surges. We have stayed in plenty of hotels and wear masks in common areas, eat outside where possible and at non-peak times when it will be indoors so the restaurants are less busy. We take some calculated risks, like not masking when visiting friends and family at private residences and eating indoors at times. This balance has worked well for us, but I am definitely taking more risks as time goes on.

You wore masks on your cruise? We did not and we’re fine. Two cruises.

Indoors, yes, we did. We have other summer travel and sleepaway camp to get ready for and don't want to have to cancel or delay anything.

I just flew with my husband and 2 kids to Rome, Croatia, and finally to a wedding in Chicago. We wore masks at the airport and part of the time on the airplane. We didn't wear masks much else. None of us got covid. My kids had already had it earlier this summer, husband and I have never had it.

These covid threads are so breathtakingly stupid.

We have taken three trips by plane three times this year, no covid. We wore KF94s in airports and on planes at all times, as well as indoors everywhere (as we do at home). We ate only at restaurants with outdoor seating, or did carry-out and ate where we were staying, or (a very few times) made our own simple meals.

Our trips were all wonderful; we chose destinations and times of year where/when we knew eating outdoors wouldn’t be a problem or that we would have a place to prepare some meals.

Same poster. To clarify, we wore masks indoors in all *public* places. Not in our hotels/rentals.

Flew to LA and did Disneyland at the end of December with Delta variant everywhere. Was sure someone was going to get COVID. But we wore N95s everywhere and didn’t get it.
