What to DO in the suburbs?

Sully Historic Site, Udvar-Hazy, or just go out to eat. How long is the layover?

How many hours is a few hours exactly? It may not be worth leaving the airport. Just have lunch there.

LOL! I needed a laugh this weekend after the atrocious SC rulings this week.

The last thing I’d want to do while traveling and during a layover is to go to a museum. Or eat Indian food.

Seriously, as a native Fairfax Countier, stay at the airport. Grab a drink at the airport. Is there a nail salon there? Just meet up at the airport.

Hawley lives somewhere in or near Vienna. My friend was texting me from a donut place where she crossed paths with him and his kids. We were trying to figure out what she should say to that traitor

From the sound of that scintillating back and forth, I’ll bet you finally came up with “well, the Jerk Store called, and they are running out of you!”

OP, why not take her to a movie?

Can’t you just sit at a restaurant and talk? Or are you incapable of doing anything on your own?

The most narrow minded people I know - by FAR - live in the city and turn their noses up at anything that takes place outside of their bubble. Such bores.

I live in a close-in suburb now but used to live out in the real burbs (Reston area). I REALLY miss the proximity to breweries and hiking. There is so much to do in the Dulles area! And if you like to ride bikes, W&OD trail!
