You can get this at farmers markets. I really like their milk but I think their ice cream is pretty good (not blow me out of the water) but I wasn't impressed by Sarah's homemade either. |
+1. But I've never tried Sarah's and after this thread I'm going to have to do a multi-flavor, multi-visit comparison taste test. My work is cut out for me. |
| Does anyone make a pint-sized cinnamon? It's impossible to find a basic vanilla/cinnamon ice cream. |
I love cinnamon ice cream, but I just make my own. I rarely see it in stores. |
Sorry but that sounds contrived. You know, I like my ice cream 'merican. |
Sorry to hear. Given the nightly line at the door at their Wildwood Center location, lots of people love it! |

I LOVE ice cream, and the best I've had this year is at the new place at Pentagon row-- Mimi's.

The various fruit flavors are AMAZING. Lychee is especially incredible. |
Sarah's does a tasting "flight"! 12 small scoops. |

If gelato counts, then we love locally owned Dolcezza!
I haven't had a bad flavor but particularly love Dark chocolate (used to be called chocolate amargo) Marscapone and berries Straciatella Lemon ricotta cardamom I like most Dolcezza flavors better than Pitango, but Pitango does have a few winners, especially with in-season fruit (some are sorbets). Ice Cream Jubilee has some amazing seasonal flavors and their mint chocolate chip is one of my favorite regular flavors. |
Is that a fact or just marketing b.s.? There is a wildly popular place near my hometown who claims the same but it is a 100% lie. And also, do they use a handful of simply all natural ingredients or actually cheap high-margin crap including corn syrup? |
I would shocked if they weren’t using their own milk but I would not be shocked if their other ingredients weren’t as high quality as the milk. |
