Best ice cream?

Now that it’s summer and hopefully we have sunnier days ahead, what are the best ice cream shops in the area? Especially interested in local shops!

Its Carribean.....lots of fruity flavors. It does not remind me of Giffords.

After reading the book about Giffords (written by the son), that would be a hard no for me. Kind of ruined it.

Dairy Godmother, Goodie's, Jimmie Cone, Ice Cream Jubilee, Carmen's.

Many of these are custard rather than ice cream but that's ok!

I can vouch for Annapolis Ice Cream company. We have also been meaning to visit the UMD dairy.

University of Maryland Dairy! It used to be a separate place but it’s now in the student union.

The milk cone at Kyoto Matcha in Rockville is really good.
