It is the difference between unofficial (now) and official results (summer). Most likely your kids scores won’t change.

What causes a score to change?

Can someone please tell me where on SIS it can be found? I looked under Grade Book and Report Card and it’s not there.

It's under test results. You may have to scroll down to see that tab.

Whelp. My fifth grader failed science badly and math barely. Reading was OK, not great.

She didn't qualify for summer school, I was told she was doing "fine" two weeks ago (when they knew her scores).

I heard through the grapevine that fifth grade science was a bloodbath across the board. Ten year olds shouldn't be "taught" science with google slides.

I 100% agree to this. Science was so uninspiring. My kid passed but learned nothing to inspire.

My kid passed proficient reading, barely passed math, and brutally flunked science.

Their teacher had them cramming science for two weeks before the test, on printouts that were just page of random information. They never do actual hands-on science in class.

I dunno, DS did fine on the Science SOL last year. Not sure that slides were the issue.

I think its supposed to be material for several years, so maybe his teachers were more engaging in the previous years, or maybe he just loves learning off google slides.
