| Friday, 6/3. Our elementary school has posted the SOL result of one subject. |
| Some schools are adding the scores to sis next week. I guess enough parents called to ask or complain. |
Formally request them from the county, they are part of your child's academic record and you are entitled to view them regardless of your principal's timing preferences |
| ES weekly newsletter said SOLs will be posted on June 8. Don't know if that's just our school or across the county. |
Our ES said “by mid-July.” |
| Ours said with report card. |
My theory is they wait until school ends so no one wants to ask for meeting on results, but for us would be helpful to know if barely passed so could get tutor if needed. |
It would be helpful to know if failed too!! (For same reasons). It is really silly they don’t release them at a set date after they’re done. July is just odd. |
| Our ES said they will be centrally uploaded on June 8 |
Our ES told us they would be posting them on Friday, but they're not there. |
| They have them, you can call and ask if you don't see them online. |
At our school, if your kid failed they contact you right away to ask if you’d like a retake. So you know if you don’t get that call, your kid passed. Is it not the same at other schools? |
You only get a call if they fail within the retake range. |
I believe this is because the parent needs the “official” SOL scores for the kids transfer. Only unofficial results are available now. The state still needs to review any potential “ mistakes” with all of the tests. If they determine certain questions need to be omitted because of error the scores can change slightly. Official results come later this summer. |
I emailed for the score. No response. I went to the school and asked in the main office. No response. My school is a joke. |
