WTF and they are in other areas already. |
| Perly's in Richmond. Outside the DVM but I wish there were one closer. |
The best Peruvian restaurant I’ve ever been to was in San Francisco. It wasn’t a chicken chain though, true. |
| Medium Rare is a good one. It's going to sound crazy but where I grew up in Texas there's nothing like Chop't or Sweetgreen (I know they're in NYC, etc, but the parts of the country that could REALLY BENEFIT from a fast-food salad chain don't have them). Other than that, maybe Rehobot? |
I lived in Houston for 2 years. Lupe Tortilla would make me very happy! |
| I live 45 minutes west of Leesburg. I would love a Moby Dick, Anita’s, and a Bonchon out this way. |
What you like may not be what I like. Didn't realize they expanded beyond the 3 states. |

Agree with Teaism, though part of the charm is that it's local
One place I miss that didn't survive is Bread and Brew that was in Dupont. Just simple healthy salads and sandwiches. And longer standing was CF Folks. Miss their lunch specials so much! |
Totally agree! There is nothing unique about DC food. Most cities have better food than DC. I grew up in Cincy and the food is even better there. |

I see a big difference between winter and summer at District Taco. They seem to use fresh produce etc and everything tastes better. With that said, I still prefer Taco Bambo (but also know that DC taco joints aren’t good enough to export). There really aren’t Peruvian chicken places elsewhere? I didn’t realize that. |
I live in Atlanta and I spotted 3 recently, so they gave definitely expanded. You got your wish! |
