Thank goodness someone else is in my camp. I posted earlier that I wax with a full bush. One comment was the bOOmer comment, which I am not. The other made some gag. Whatever… Live and let live. |
Yes it is… |
Are you having a stroke |
Either feministic or boomer, the later have stroke |
|
| Fully lasered. |
You are childish. |
If you are over 50 |
Who gagged and who is childish…? 🤦♂️ |
| I don’t really care what the trend is. I’m 34 fwiw and I am in the process of lasering off everything except a patch on the mound area. I absolutely love having the lips completely bare, it’s a huge turn on for both me and Dh. Dh is 43 and loves totally bare. I keep the patch (kept trimmed short) bc I have daughters and I want to have some hair there bc they see me naked and eventually they’ll go through puberty. If o didn’t have kids it would all be lasered off. And it’s because I love it and it’s a bonus that Dh does too. There’s nothing like being able to wear skimpy sexy lingerie without pubes hanging out to spice up your sex life. |
Good for you. Do whatever makes you and DH happy. Different strokes for different folks. It’s like Baskin Robbins. 31 Flavors for the variety in life. |
Curious about this, but assuming your daughters see you naked will you proactively explain to them that your styling isn't natural and that they shouldn't be freaked out when their hair grows in differently? Or will you acknowledge it at all? Maybe I'm picturing there being less there than you have, but I don't see how your current situation helps much with the puberty discussion, but it sure raises some questions for them. |

I like to shave the whole undercarriage area and leave a trimmed triangle on the top. Every few weeks I shave the whole thing. Sometimes I go longer between shaving and it’s more grown out, although I wouldn’t call it a full bush. Not sure DH even really notices and he doesn’t care. I prefer the feel of no hair underneath and the top I just switch up for fun.
I don’t think any look is “right” but I do think it’s kind of sad when people feel ashamed that their pubic hair isn’t up to some standard. I remember a friend once freaking out because she was pregnant and couldn’t shave but was nervous to get waxed and was so embarrassed for her DH to see her with hair. |
Yeah,.I just keep it trimmed. I really don't want to look like a little girl and the maintenance is much less time and money. |
+1 and DH has never said a word. In fact, I’ve only ever had one boyfriend comment on it, and that relationship lasted 5 months. |
