What foods will you absolutely NOT eat?

Sauerkraut
Kimchee
(I love non fermented cabbage raw or cooked)

Oysters, mussels, clams and such

Kale - not because of the food as such, but because my stomach really can’t handle it

I’ve eaten things like liver and tongue in the past but will not do again

Cabbage in any form. I hate it more than anything else. Even the smell makes me gag. When I was a kid I used to be able to make myself vomit when I wanted to miss school just by thinking about cabbage and imagining eating it.

Pork (bad associations because it was always served with cabbage when I was a kid).

Uncooked tomatoes (but love tomato sauce and paste)

Pickled herring. I live in Europe where this is very popular and I just cannot.

I'm a picky eater. You don't have time for me to list them all.

Meat and seafood. I’m vegetarian. Everything else is fine. Love capers in my egg salad, sautéed portobellos, caprese sandwiches with fresh tomatoes, you name it.

The only two "common" foods I don't eat are:
1) A typical McDonalds or burger king hamburger with condiments (mustard and ketchup) is a very hard sell for me. I don't typically like condiments on sandwiches at all, but can tolerate them if I'm able to scrape off most of it. But the typical single patty burger with a thick layer of condiment is just a bridge too far. Similarly, Chicago-style hotdogs and the like. For basic American picnic food; I always just get stuff plain.

2) I don't eat farmed salmon.

More "niche": I will NOT eat the black licorice with salt concoctions they have in Scandinavia. Most disgusting bite of food I have ever consumed.

Otherwise, I'll probably try everything once. I'd be wary of some of those foreign foods (like the Icelandic shark, or natto, or organ meat associated the male sex organs) that have been brought up but if in a situation where I had to try them, I probably would.
I've tried some organ meat and with the exception of liver when made into pate, they're a "one try" situation for me. I've never tried brains, kidneys, sweetmeats, or heart.

This is me too. Also on the list is jello and puddings. I also hate food that has the texture of vomit. You couldn't pay me to eat rice pudding or oatmeal.

Peppers, raw onions any kind of raw onion, spring, yellow, celery, cilantro.
They make me throw up instantly.

Rice is cheap, but how does it taste cheap?

Sprouts. The nasty stringy kind.

Ahhh. You have not been introduced to the complex world of hakarl, or rotted shark meat. It's a delicacy in Iceland. Travel, and you will be introduced to new things!

Or kiviak, or shiokara. Or others. The world is complex and varied, and I am unwilling to eat all of it.

Very niche. Doesn't count.

They are foods. That I will not eat. Check out the title.

Sorry your experiences have been limited to Burger King and a bowl of fruit on the kichen island.

NP here. Yes, you're technically right, but appear to be trying your level best (with this and the chocolate discussion) to be the biggest d-bag possible. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Because you are not seasoning it correctly, and adding broths, protein, beans, vegetables?

Even plain white rice is good with salt and butter. You need to cook it properly.

Dried Kombu. I like other seaweed, but cannot stand kombu.
