| Dr Oz is so gross. A charlatan abusing his medical degree. He doesn’t even live in PA. No wonder trump endorsed him. Either Lamb or Fetterman would be a credit to PA. |
There is no "may." It wasn't set up as a policy debate. Lamb set up a sham debate framed specifically around that one item, a publicity stunt disguised as a debate. I'm sure there will be normal debates. |
Fetterman is left of Bernie and outright a communist. PA sees him for what he is and won't be elected. |
|
Conor Lamb is in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry and sides with Republicans at least 70% of the time. He'd be like another Manchin. No thanks.
As for primary debates, Fetterman committed to the 3 main televised debates that will be coming up. |
You're delusional and you need to drop that ludicrous right wing nonsense of "anyone I disagree with is a communist." This has come up and been addressed many times before including on Young Turks. He's definitely not a communist and while he stumped for Bernie he is a progressive Dem and doesn't even identify as democratic socialist. |
Thank you for sharing this info, PP. I am a Black woman from Pittsburgh with a ton of family still in PA. I really like Fetterman, and I was curious why he didn’t show up for that debate. Good to know it was a sham. Also, I am seriously pissed at Lamb for exploiting that old-ass incident that has been explained by Fetterman and forgiven by the other party. As a Black person, I find Lamb’s use of that situation disgusting. It makes you wonder why he can’t win on his record. Fetterman has a history of helping disenfranchised communities. It’s a no-brainer. |
Interesting. My PA relatives will never vote D, especially not Fetterman. I can see him being popular with the type of voter who voted for Obama and Trump, as well as younger voters. |
He was elected mayor of Braddock, which is majority black, and led police reforms to focus on de-escalation, toward reducing gun violence and improving relations and trust between police and the black community. He also did a lot to improve the community and provide opportunities for black businesses and to provide hope for a community that had otherwise been abandoned. |
If he can get Pittsburgh, Philly and a few other areas like a chunk of the Lackawanna and Lehigh valley voters he's got it. |
Oz doesn’t live in Pa and Lamb’s degrees will work against him. |
Haha what? Has Fetterman called for workers to seize the means of production? Why is he running for senator if he advocates a stateless, classless society? |
| Fetterman for president? |

Fetterman may pick up some Western Pa votes who might otherwise gone R, but very few, I suspect. Western PA is trending more and more red.
His real challenge will be the Philadelphia suburbs. And he's a bit scary looking for the Philadelphia suburbs, which married with his progressive left politics, will not help him. Oz, by contrast, looks normal. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Both men are deeply flawed for different reasons. If it ends up being a straight party line vote I give the Rs the advantage in a red tide year. |
Lol both men are deeply flawed…GTFO. |
