That’s a reference to James Carville who in 1986 called Pennsylvania Paoli and Penn Hills [Philadelphia and Pittsburgh] with Alabama in the middle.

McCormick is the current husband of former Trump WH official Dina Powell and they had reportedly been lobbying Trump heavily for his endorsement.
