No they just don’t pander to a particular group for political gain.

Literally pandered to Asians for political gain on the belief that they are single-issue education voters

Right. That’s the only reason why low-income and URMs aren’t “achieving well”. They just aren’t “putting their minds to it”.

And that justified you racist mobs for bullying and robbery of another group?

Robbery? Your sense of entitlement is repulsive.

Says a racist thief?

“The bottom line is the (TJ) policy was adopted in order to, frankly, reduce the number of Asian Americans that were attending Thomas Jefferson,” Sen. Chap Petersen said. “And all you have to do is look at all the public comments that were being made at the time.”

You do realize this was already illegal? And nobody used race as a factor.

Try to understand proxy discrimination, you racist dumbass!

Providing access to kids who don't go to wealthy middle schools is really horrible.

Except that you didn’t.

But the judge found discriminatory intent.

If you call defending the US constitution single issue, that’s fine with me.

That is exactly what the new plan does.

No. What the new plan did was to discriminate Asian Americans as ruled by the federal court. This is also confirmed by the VA house bill that was just passed.

Yeah - because the Constitution is their concern.

The new process opened seats to kids across FCPS -- even low-income middle schools. TJ is a regional resource - it wasn't set aside for a few wealthy middle schools.

Our school board probably needs something like this in order to stand up to future racist proposals like they TJ admission changes. Not one board member had the backbone to take a stand when they all knew the whole process was shady.

And this is why every single School Board member in FCPS should never hold public office again.

The new process opened seats to unqualified kids across FCPS -- even low-income middle schools. TJ is a governor school - it wasn't set aside for racial discriminations.

Yes it truly is, unlike you racist liberals.

The admitted applicants are qualified. GPA was higher than previous classes.

The process shouldn't support discrimination against race or income. When only 0.6% of a class is economically-disadvantaged you know there is a problem.

Your lies have been debunked numerous times in this forum. Repeating lies won't make them true.

The seats were already open to those students. FCPS just decided to ignore merit and set aside seats to students more likely to be Black, Hispanic or low-income, while making clear the intent was to reduce Asian enrollment, in violation of the Constitution.
