It's not a super active forum compared to others. I really wouldn't read anything into the activity in a 3 hour period.

But I'm guessing that you don't feel constrained to facts.

And honestly, is there anything new to discuss that hasn't been discussed ad nauseum in other threads?

I see racists are not wasting time making it known that they are unhappy.

Our school board probably needs something like this in order to stand up to future racist proposals like they TJ admission changes. Not one board member had the backbone to take a stand when they all knew the whole process was shady.

They're in an impossible position now because if the new changes return the school to 3/4 Asian at the expense of black students, they will be sued again. If whatever changes they make don't return the school to 3/4 Asian, they will be facing motions in this lawsuit.

Clearly you need to read the bill. It does not day that there needs to be certain outcome in the admissions, just that it cannot consider race.

Cleary you don't understand that the bill has nothing to do with federal law which is what they are being and will be sued under.

Really? Seems like the racists are all pretty ecstatic.

Because I’m not a racist and the racists are taking over VA.

Finally someone is standing up to the bigoted, anti-Asian racism of the “woke” democrats, and their insane ideas.

The bill creates causes of action based on state anti discrimination law, no?

No, they are definitely unhappy. Look in the mirror and see that frown.

“The bottom line is the (TJ) policy was adopted in order to, frankly, reduce the number of Asian Americans that were attending Thomas Jefferson,” Sen. Chap Petersen said. “And all you have to do is look at all the public comments that were being made at the time.”

Really? I thought it was adopted to give kids whose families don't take out a second mortgage to invest in a prep a fair chance?

That's always been true.
