No win with visiting in laws. Who is wrong- who is right?

| How often are these people visiting? Do they expect you to entertain them? Your husband must explain to them that these weeknight visits cannot disrupt your kid’s schedules. You also need to explain to your high school age children that they stay on schedule. Dinner at 6, go to your room and do your homework and bedtime by 10 or whatever is the norm in your house.Why have you allowed this free for all? |

| This would be a hell no in my house. Kids time is 100% booked between homework and sports activities during the week. There is no way there is time to allow guests every week. The kids grades would be impacted. maybe one weekday every third week would work. Weekdays are chaos and I can’t imagine doing what you’re doing. |
