The wedding may be generic but the bride and groom look great. She’s very pretty and slim and he’s good looking in that wasp-y patrician sort of way. His hair looks good, her outfits are cute, flower girl dresses are sweet …. Really have to dig for something to not like here. Haters are gonna hate, I guess.

Yes, he looks his age, while she looks like a throwback to a 1980s movie. The whole thing does - the flower girls with blue sash dresses, the poofy sleeves on the bridesmaids, the ubiquity of bottle blondes and the absence of even a single non-white person.... I'm the same age as the groom and I went to that exact same wedding a million times when I was in my 20s. It's sort of depressing that Vogue thinks this is chic (and that a Vogue editor has such a bad dye job. The black eyebrows, ugh.)

I have tons of relatives in Greenwich and spend a lot of time on the Cape and Nantucket so I loved all of the details.

The photo captions were a little repetitive, but that’s about all I could remotely say negativeZ

I’ve attended an Indian wedding and an African American wedding and my husband and I have been the only white people.

One side of my family is 100% Irish so the number of relatives is astounding. Accordingly, my wedding was of mostly that “color”. It was hard to keep the guest list number with family alone.

The Friends cast and SATC cast were all white because that’s the circles they ran in. I find it weird people will say someone’s FAMILY and childhood friends are one color.
