Explain wealthy men and mail order brides

Okay. Are marriage rates higher in countries in which incomes tend to be higher? Really? Do women in poorer countries only want men for their money? Or are men more necessary for their social and economic survival?

It's a guarantee they will like you so you don't have to wonder. The chance they will break up with you is slim at least for a few years.
The women are far more beautiful then any woman they would be able to attract in the US who is a citizen.
Some men prefer a woman to be in charge and women who purposely pursue these opportunities are going to be at least ambitious enough to put themselves out there and move to another country to make changes in their lives.
Control is another one - they won't leave, they will do want the man wants.

Many men in America, wealthy men also, prefer women from overseas because their culture of growing up was to always take care of their bodies and appearance. It's to be respectful. Doesn't always mean being a "slave", but more taking care of one self. I have two friends from the EU/Russia area and they both moved here around 2005. They are both married and have kids. They still take care of their looks and are always on top of things. I asked them how they are always so focused on being neat and mature. They actually told me it was their culture and their parents (mother mainly) who taught them that's how you behave.

And yes they are both married to wealthy highly successful men. But, they are not old men. About the same age or maybe 4-5 year difference.

I know multiple foreign women who came to the US to start their education (even community colleges give out student visas!) and got married - often to older men - for a Green Card. Once the GC was secured, they turned around pretty quickly and filed for divorce.

It's really common. And the American guy won't advertise it, because he's embarrassed that he was used.

This is strange. I don't think I am going to be thrilled if DS decides a mail order bride is a good choice of spouse. How would she make a good partner for him unless she is highly educated and if she has a great education...why is she a mail order bride?

Any parents out there that would desire this arrangement for their DS?

You'll be in memory care by the time your DS resorts to using this method to secure a bride. Young guys don't do this. It's almost always older, jaded men.

Notice how here, we tend to use the word "behave" for children only.

Why do women think these women are less worthy than typical American women? You can't blame women for wanting to have a better life whether you agree with their choice or not is a different question
