After I read Fast Food Nation I stopped eating fast food. Then about four or five months later, I went with a friend to a fast food place, but got violently ill. Haven't had it again in over 15 years.

High sodium gives me a terrible headache. I tried chugging water while eating high sodium foods, but that doesn't help. I just can't eat ramen, or a big bag of chips or anything very salty.

I have this in my family, we call it [Irish last name] stomach.

I think of this as Middle Aged Stomach.

Chili from a popular chili place. I try to like it, but every time I eat it, any of the style they have, it makes me feel so full. An uncomfortable fullness even if I eat just 2 spoons of it. I think it's the grease and the type of chili. It feels like a certain type of fullness that doesn't feel good. I've eaten many things and full on buffet style food and I don't feel that type of fullness.

If I make similar chili at home, I don't have that feeling. I also don't use alot of oil.

I think I have a reaction to some type of chili peppers used. I get a similar feeling if eating certain type of spice on the meat that comes with the tacos. Maybe cayenne peppers or something related to it.

Red Onions

Med diet is not good for me End up with the big D about 30 minutes after I eat them.

+1 every single time. I can’t figure out what it is - have tried various iterations and sick every time unless it’s a plain cheese quesadilla, so it’s not the grease

This happened to me then I realized it was their red onions. I can't have their guac, corn, green salsa or mild salsa b/c they all have red onions. I can do their spicy red with no problem. But the others send me right ot the bathroom. If you ever need a cleanse, that's my go to.

I think it might be cumin you have problems with? It gives me a stomach ache and I am literally tasting it and burping up cumin for DAYS afterward.

The bread that comes with breakfast at The Corner Bakery. It's some kind of multi-grain bread with seeds on the crust. I realized after the 2nd time eating it and getting sick.

Bagels. My blood sugar just crashes within an hour or 2.

Cake frosting.

It has always been this way. I was the weird little kid scraping the frosting off cake & cupcakes at the bday parties.

My aunt always made a fresh strawberry cake each year for my birthday, sans frosting.
