FYI, there is an 08 that plays in the '05 Florida United GA (ranked #9 in the US) that has also been invited to this camp.

Solar has 6 players in the pool, more than any club. They are ranked #1 and probably care more about winning than any club in the Country.

I’ve seen a few of these local girls play. They’re very good and well deserving of this opportunity and recognition. Well done. Imagine if they all went to one club, at least the local ones.

Boys may be more in flux than the girls side simply because the physical maturity timelines are different between boys and girls.

Yes, some new girls can still play their way in and some previously selected girls can play their way out but the physical growth side for girls is 90% established by 15 to the point where the coaches know what they have sooner than they do for boys.

Wait a coach that wants to win? Does he play the best players? OMG what a horrible person! Is it his record or the players and the club’s record? My daughter likes the fact that he cares and wants to win as we have been elsewhere where coaches do this for a paycheck.

Which is why 80% of the WNT players are selected out of college or pro who were never on YNT in their career. It’s just for the players who’s parents forked over the most money to get a look. So start spending that money and getting your knees dirty parents and you and yours could make a camp.

I think that once a YNT has been selected, if they get stomped, then they are tossed away for a new crop of girls to see if they gel.
