The 07 from McLean is the player from Metro GA who parents on this forum
have been hating on for years- saying she’s not good enough, etc. She’s controlling
games for 05 McLean this year- guess the mean/jealous parents were wrong.

and whose parents also started this thread lol

Who knows. Regardless, all the bully Anonymous soccer moms and dads
out there who trashed her and her mom and said she was crazy for hyping up her kid
are pretty quiet now. Or, they’re the ones saying, let’s wait another couple years until
my kid is done growing and then she’ll be called up, too. Hilarious.

OP here, and I'm not this kid's parent. I don't have a kid at this age level on the YNT.

Started with playing on a top Bethesda Boys team before going to Metro.

Bottom line, parents followed the right path if this their daughter's passion. Start with boys, play up as long as physically and mentally possible. We've seen this approach with just about every top player in the country for years. It truly is the model for highest success for the very best. FYI, there is an 08 that plays in the '05 Florida United GA (ranked #9 in the US) that has also been invited to this camp.

A camp is not a roster spot on a YNT.

LOL, happens when a club cares about players not only their ambitious attitude to have a team ranking 1st.

That’s actually funny. We all know the McLean 05 coach is not in
this for the players. It’s all about him and how this looks for him as a coach.
McLean is just as bad as TSJFCV.

Don't kid yourself. They aren't sacrificing a #1 ranking for the good of the player. Having a YNT player on the club is also a big draw for the club, just as #1 ranking would be. Both things can be true at the same time. The club cares what's best for this player AND they want to be able to market the YNT player for the benefit of the club

Yes, yes, but many of the eventual national level players were also going to YNT camps at U15 so it is a pretty strong signal.

Yep, it will be the same 3 or 4 girls in camp every year. That’s all folks.
