Who snacks after dinner?

If I’m snack-y and want something sweet after dinner, I’ll eat a piece of gluten free raisin bread, maybe with almond butter. Does the trick without too much added sugar.

Apple with all-natural peanut butter (just keep the peanut butter to 2 Tablespoons)

Air popped popcorn with kettle-corn topper sprinkled on

People who stay up late! I eat dinner with my kids at 5:30 but I’m up until 12-1.

I eat at 6pm and don't snack after dinner except once a week, say Fri night family time, popcorn maybe chips. But 6 nights a week is night snack free.

I find it strange that op has to snack at 9pm before going to bed. There is a bigger issue here. Have you consulted your PCP or GI doc?

Just have something with fat and protein that’s not sweet. If you do that for a week the sweetness craving will go away.

Almonds
String cheese
Rice cake with peanut butter (thin stacker version is low calorie)
Nut thins and Swiss or cheddar
Etc

Sugarfree gelatin with fatfree whipped cream.

What about tea? I find slowly drinking hot liquid while watching TV helps me not mindlessly munch on potato chips or crackers or chocolates. Maybe add a spoonful of raw honey if you want the sweetness.

Yes, this. We eat dinner as early as 5 sometimes. If I go to bed early, fine. But if I’m up until midnight I usually eat around 8 or 9.

Why have I never thought of this. I know what I’m having for dessert tonight! Thanks PP.

Me and I'm 5'7 and 135 lbs. at 46 years old.

OP, some options below. I do low carb and whole foods, with no fillers, gums, or artificial sweeteners.

1) apple - a sweet kind like Fuji - and string cheese
2) Keto bread with almond butter and fresh berries on top. I like Base Culture Bread (the red one) the best.
3) Simple Mills cookies, I like the chocolate ones but they have toasted pecans and cinnamon ones. 4 cookies have 16g of carbs
4) full-fat cottage cheese with hazelnuts and blueberries
5) a glass of whole milk
6) check if your local whole foods carries Nats raw cakes. They are AMAZING - I buy the tiramisu and the lime & mango. 17g cabs each and very filling.

I also bake with this sweetener from Mom's. I get terrible stomach issues from the fake ones but this is good, has no aftertaste, and acts like a prebiotic. I make an apple crisp with almond flour crust with it.

Me every night. Not snack but something sweet while I am reading my book before going to sleep. Low fat hot chocolate and bit of chocolate. It is my one treat and I do a shit load of exercise And eat really well. This is something I look forward to everyday. You will have to prize my pre bed treat from my cold dead hands.

Apple and PB do it for me. I know you said you don’t like fruit but for me I can do just a tablespoon of peanut butter.

God I love peanut butter....apple and PB sounds delicious. I have never had it but might need to try it. My problem is I reckon I could eat half a jar of peanut butter without even trying.

A frozen raspberry, smashed, in a champagne glass with seltzer or diet ginger ale.
