Post dinner sweet tooth… help!

I’d incorporate the bowl of cheerios or granola into the calorie count you are aiming for and carry on.

I get bad heartburn if I try to go to bed without eating something. But need something better. Fruit doesn’t do it for me.

Any ideas (oh and I am allergic to chocolate so advice like “one square of dark chocolate” won’t work for me)

If you're a Costco member (you can also get them on Amazon but make sure they're the same size serving as Costco)., they sell the most amazing gummy bears I feel silly even saying it as I'm a grown adult, but they're really good - very authentic when compared to the OG Haribo Gummy Bears. And they come in 70 calorie packets. One pouch does the trick for me!

You’ve conditioned yourself to need something sweet. I recommend eating a string cheese and a small apple. And take some Prilosec.

Why have I never thought of this. I know what I’m having for dessert tonight! Thanks PP.

When I've got bottomless pit syndrome, a cup of hot tea helps (peppermint or chamomile).

She can't have chocolate. Read the op.

Then cookies or whatever. The point isn’t that chocolate is a magic food, the point is just have a treat you like and find satisfying

Did you even read the OP? Or do you just enjoy being obtuse and useless?

Coming in a lil hot there

DP. The heat makes her sane. You on the other hand...cold and dense. Lol

Omg I love these so much.

But I do think if OP is trying to lose weight, tums or some other heart burn relief is better than bed time calories.

+1 in the string cheese or I’ll make some air-popped popcorn with that kettle corn seasoning on top. Just enough sweet but won’t derail you from healthy eating.

What are you eating for dinner that you're hungry three hours later? Are you eating enough protein and healthy fat (e.g., olive oil on your veggies or half an avocado)? I'd start there.

Also try taking a walk after dinner if you can.

If you're still hungry, how about apple slices and peanut butter or other nut butter? Whole-milk plain yogurt with fresh berries? Again, shoot for protein and healthy fat.

Two good vanilla yogurt cup with fat free reddi whip on top. Sometimes sprinkled with pbfit powder. Love this combo.

PP it’s literally what everyone is posting “ yogurt” except it’s Greek and in sweet form. This is an ideal snack packed with protein.

+1. Delicious and only about 100cal/bar.

Soak about 2 tbsp of chia seeds in almond milk and mix in some maple syrup to make it lightly sweet. It sets fairly quickly in the fridge. Add some granola and fruits, enjoy

I usually go for unsweetened staff - cup of full-fat yogurt sprinkled with cinnamon or coco powder. Or hardboiled egg. Right now (cold) I'd heat up cup of chicken broth, than add some scallions or a bit of hot sauce.
Carbs/sugar at night is not a best choice if you try to loose weight.
