Daily? As in, those are all new cases just from today?

So I’m not quite clear as to all of the ins and outs but it’ll be interesting to see what the data shows. I think that everyone hopes to stay in person…but with more hands on deck. A shorter quarantine for teachers would really help.

Well not closing with that kind of viral spread would be mighty stupid.

That was spread outside the school.

Don't start again with "no spread in schools". This is Omicron, 10 times more transmissible than Delta. Of course it spreads in schools.

So is there going to be an update as to what the data means?

wtf? Wasn’t the whole point to let people know when a school was getting close to 5%?

This doesn’t even say the 14 day numbers. And without the daily reports from the last 14 days, we can’t calculate it either.

So many schools are red! But it still says this is from cases starting December 23, so some of them must have aged out and shouldn’t be included when looking at data from the last 14 days.

Wow. Our high school dropped by 42 cases. There’s 0 staff out with COVID according to the new report. We should now be in the green.

Those are just the cases reported today, not the cumulative cases. There’s a separate document with the total cases since winter break started.

Yes, it's interesting to have the two sets of data.

Pp again, realizing that December 23 to today is a full 14 days. Wow on these numbers!

As expected, it’s red everywhere. They created a process to ensure this outcome. The giveaway is that they currently have not articulated a process to get out of red and back to school.

All the new red schools are in person tomorrow, per the dashboard website which states:

“ The 11 schools listed below are the only ones that have transitioned to virtual learning. All other schools will continue with in-person learning on January 6, 2022.”
